Rough Beats 2008
March 28th, 2008Friends
A beautifully formed oasis of song nestled in the Yorkshire hills is once again looming like the fabled musical goose. Last year saw rain splashing down and all around, generators wheezing through their filters like electric lungs, a crowd of hundreds shrouded in an eerie blue glow, jams springing from the darkness where cellos and drums once lay, a pirate with a painting of his ship, and a intangible sense that we were all making it occur together. And occur again it will on the same craggy hill in Yorkshire. Yes my friends, Rough Beats 2008 is coming, and Dirty Dwellings will be there to cast a spell of sounds, revealing the soft insides of their heads and hearts through their delicate music. Wade in the sea of sub-tones from the 13th to the 15th of June and give thanks.
